Hi!
My name is Steven van Koeverden and I have been a photographer since 2007. Exploring all kinds of photography to find my true purpose, portrait photography.
In 2015, I found a portrait of my great-great-grandfather. At that moment, I realized just how valuable portraits can be, even though I had already been photographing for more than eight years.
I graduated from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts and have always had a deep love for portrait photography. Everyone around me, especially one of my best friends, had been telling me for years that this was where my true talent lay. I only came to that realization myself in 2021. From that moment, I was certain. I need to work with people—capture their valuable people, days, or moments. Preferably in black and white.
